Donations made to the Foundation for the Advancement of Christian Libraries (FACL) are used to further the mission of the association. If you benefited from FACL/ACL and you would like to contribute to this important cause, please see below the specific ways you can donate.
- General Donations: General donations are used for general membership assistance at the discretion of the board. Choose “General Donation” as the donation type on the Donations Form.
- Conference Donations: Occasionally, a member has asked about donating towards the annual conference in order to help offset some of the costs for another member. The use of these funds is based on need and comes about organically from the membership. If the home office staff is made aware of a specific need, then available resources can be allocated to that need. If you are interested in giving toward the annual conference, please select “ACL Conference” as your donation type.
- Legacy Endowment Donations: The Legacy Endowment is a board-designated endowment that was created to support ACL members by providing resources for professional development, scholarship, research, and conference attendance. The board seeks to continue to grow the endowment through member donations and also by contributing a portion of income over expenses on an annual basis when the financial health of the organization allows. Grants were awarded beginning in 2020 and the board is excited to continue to see how the Legacy Endowment continues to foster the field of librarianship by funding individual libraries. To contribute to the endowment fund, choose “Legacy Endowment” as the donation type on the Donations Form.
