The Conference Leadership Team is continuously working to make sure that we have sites, programming, and events in place for our annual conference that help us accomplish the conference mission. If your institution is interested in hosting the annual conference, please contact April McKinion, Conference Manager, for next steps. We are currently accepting applications for hosting the 2026 conference and beyond. The deadline for applying to host the 2026 conference is April 15, 2024.
To be qualified to host, an institution must have the following:
- Lodging for 150-175 guests
- Food Services that can accommodate guests for all meals
- An event room large enough to accommodate all attendees
- At least one ACL member on the library staff
- Technology support for AV services and the potential to video record sessions
CONFERENCE MISSION: The Association of Christian Librarians hosts an annual conference in order to inform attendees about contemporary trends in librarianship, stimulate professional development, encourage networking, and provide opportunities for the exchange of ideas. The conference is also one way that ACL can bring our members into community to encourage one another as Christian librarians primarily serving in Christian higher education around the globe. Librarians should attend who are looking to advance in their profession, engage with like-minded professionals, and be encouraged for the upcoming year.
